Best Buffet in Sharjah: Why Taier Al Monal Is Abu Shaghara's Favourite Table

Searching for the best buffet in Sharjah? Here's exactly what's on the table at Taier Al Monal's weekday and weekend Pakistani buffet — and why over 1,700 diners rate it 4.6 stars.

Sharjah has no shortage of buffets, but most people asking for "the best buffet in Sharjah" actually mean something specific: fresh food, a live cooking station, fair pricing, and a spread big enough that everyone at the table finds something. That's the bar we built Taier Al Monal's buffet around, and it's the reason we're currently sitting at a 4.6-star rating from more than 1,700 reviews.

Two buffets, one kitchen

We run a Weekend Premium Buffet (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–12:00 AM) and a Weekday Lunch & Dinner Buffet (Monday–Thursday, lunch 1:00–4:00 PM, dinner 7:00–11:00 PM). Both draw from the same kitchen — the difference is scale and timing, not quality.

  • Weekend Premium Buffet — AED 65 adult / AED 33 kid, kids under 5 free, wider spread including a weekend-only section
  • Weekday Lunch & Dinner Buffet — AED 42 flat, same live BBQ and main-course rotation on a tighter, faster spread

What's actually on the table

Chicken biryani, Bannu beef pulao, white chicken karahi and murgh achari handi anchor the main course. The live tandoor and BBQ counter runs mutton seekh kabab, khoya kabab, reshmi kabab and malai boti. Weekend adds a dedicated "Weekend Special" section — prawn tempura, Dhaka chicken, honey wings — plus soups, an international corner (fried rice, Alfredo pasta), and a dessert table with Monal's own kheer, gulab jamun and umm ali.

Why it holds up against the competition

Abu Shaghara has plenty of Pakistani buffets to choose from, and a lot of diners here have tried most of them. What tends to bring people back to Taier Al Monal specifically is the combination — live BBQ that's actually cooked in front of you, a genuinely large main-course rotation rather than three curries repeated all week, and pricing that holds up to a weekly visit, not just a one-off.

Bringing kids or a bigger group?

Both buffets are priced with families in mind — kids under 5 dine free, and ages 5–10 are half price. For groups larger than a standard table, it's worth calling ahead so we can have seating ready.
